Plusvital Vitamin C 100 is simply 100% Vitamin C, which acts as an important anti-oxidant that works with Vitamin E to reduce free radicals. Normally, it is produced in sufficient quantities given the presence of enzyme, L-gulonolactone oxidase. That said, horses under stress from training and competition and the older or convalescing horse may have depleted plasma levels of Vitamin C, therefore, supplementation through Plusvital Vitamin C 100 may be required to support immune function.
